Because all good things must come to an end.

Yesterday was sad-happy-sad day because it's our korfball's little-league last day. The Yellow Team were champions we were only in second place because we lost the last game, 1-7, yet again. :( No work done in my part, the score was made by a very unlikely person to do it, Thorny. LOL

Moving on, yesterday, we had a short final test about the rules of Korfball. After that, we computed for our grades and then went off partying. Everyone brought something to eat and drink. Even our professor ordered 2 large, round winnowing basket (bilao) of Pancit Palabok. Thorny made some brownies or at least he said he baked it but we think he bought it. :)) It was so good. Took a lot of pictures, chatted, exchanged numbers and email addresses. Had a lot of fun getting to know each other. As the rest of the class were busy talking and having fun, the yellow team were on their side only. They didn't interact much. They were happy on their own. They weren't that friendly, I supposed. LOL. And of course, a few developed feelings for others, too. Right, Lauren? :))

Well I'll definitely miss my team mates - Don, Kevin, Thorny, Kate, Camille, Micah, Vina, Joamie, and Rachelle. Our cutie cute professor, Asst. Prof. Rodrigo Sambuang, you're one of the greatest PE professor we've had. If only I had one more PE class to take, I'd chose your class again. :)

It was great. It was good. But all good things must come to an end and so it has.

I'll miss you guys and I'm hoping we'd still bump into each other around the campus. >:D<

I'm a little off today.

Absolute bollocks! So many attempts but no basket! Maybe it was my new trainers, my feet were lighter I guess because the korf would spit out the ball every time I would throw it in. And the baddest thing was, we were fighting the Yellow Bullies. One of their players hates me so much she  even told our professor not to let me play since I've lost me uniform and I was wearing our alternate shirt. To cut the story short, we lost. 2-6? I'm not sure it was 6 or 7, I think it was 6. I played defender first so I wasn't able to shoot much and every time we changed zones, the opponents would score in successions that we haven't even got the chance to shoot, we were back to be defenders again. Bugger! It was a good thing Don was able to score, twice. So he's basically the only one who worked this afternoon.

Tomorrow is our final match, then on Wednesday is the last day of our little league, as we like to call it. I hope my new trainers favour my feet so I can score again. I feel so frustrated. Everyone was counting on me, even those officiating were saying, "Just give the ball to Lyca, she'll shoot it in." Well I'm sorry I've failed you all. Tomorrow, I'm hoping we fight the Red team because we always win when they're the opponent. I will definitely work on my distance shots  because tomorrow is PAYBACK time! Oh and we had a short quiz before the games, we were asked about hand signals, about the pitch and everything else. I only got a silly 15 out of 20. 5 mistakes, not good. Well I didn't study much so the blame is on meself.

It saddens me now that our little league has to end. Last day's on Wednesday, the awarding and all that stuff. Tomorrow is a better day I'm sure. It's not my trainers, no. It's not about not having brought my Gatorade Tiger, no. It's just not my day. We all have our days. What goes up must come down. And I must go up again, tomorrow. I'm just really frustrated and sad and lonely and mad and everything. 5 attempts and no basket? I could've been fired, lol. Good luck to our team tomorrow,  I hope we win!

It's time to Triple T, K, A -- Time to totally KICK ARSE!

Korfball. Looking after the store.

Today is THE day! :)) Our team won against those yellow bullies, finally! They were no match against my shooting powers! :)) Well, of course, I always score the winning shot. Nothing's new. Anyway, I'm stoked for Monday's match. Suprisingly, everyone knows my name. They keep on chanting it and everyone keeps on saying Hi, I don't even know what their names are, at least I think I have a future in Korfball. In case I decided to flake out on my studies, I'll go to the Netherlands or Belgium and I'll join their korfball leagues, seriously.

We celebrated our victory at McDonald's. It was raining, it was cold but hey, we won so we had sundaes  and bucket-load of fries! We exchanged addies, mobile numbers, etc. like it was the last day of class. Everything was great.

I then went home, changed and went to my cousin's place to get my wireless broadband. And now, I'm just here at the shop, looking after it, being cashier. Kinda bored, not much people today so I'm just doing stuffs in the internet. :)

AND NO RIZAL COURSE CLASS TODAY! Well there was, I think. Our prof told us yesterday he wouldn't start off with the next lesson since he knows that students like to be in 'petiks' mode still after prelims. And so I decided to go home after and missed my RC class. :D Good student, I know. HAHA Hey, there'es no judging here. :))

Wednesday's Korfball Fixture, Preliminaries in Rizal Course

Last Tuesday fixture's was traumatic, at least for our team! We lost 7-nil against the yellow team. Same story happened last Friday, we lost. We thought Tuesday would be payback time but no! HAHA

So yesterday, we had to win the game against the red team. Both teams had a hard time scoring but eventually, our team, the blue team, stood out! And of course, I scored the winning shot, thanks to the support of Carter and Marco, who went there to watch my game. I had several attempts, and only one got into the korf. HAHA Luckily, my defender wasn't as tight as the others, I was able to out run her and eventually scored!

So I extended my hands sidewards and run across the court. My team was chanting my name, they were extending their hands for a high-five. It was surreal because it wasn't easy scoring in a game. More like a football for us, small scoring games. Nevertheless, the yellow team always have higher scores because their attackers do the basketball shot which definitely wrong but the referee, which also happens to be our professor in Korfball, doesn't see it all the time.

After the fixture, I went straight to St. Raymund's building. I haven't even reviewed for our preliminaries but it's okay. The surrealness of the fixture was still in me. The preliminaries went good. I finished early, I met up with friends. Hanged out until 8 PM at the Quadri. Carter and Marco hitched. It was good.

Today we have another fixture at 1 PM. Hoping it will be as great as tomorrow. Looking for more scores and more fun!
